October didn't go to plan at all for me in regards to how I hoped it would turn out and I have struggled to get back on track from Septembers slip up. Things just didn't seem to be going right and the awful weather didn't help at all, turns out the weather is really messing with my motivation and I think just how my goals for the month sums that up. So here is a look at how the goals I set for October actually went...
Cook at least 1 new meal
I honestly haven't tried to cook anything at all let alone anything new. To be honest between me and Liam we have just been so busy lately that we haven't been bothered with what we eat and our diet throughout October really wasn't the best. A lot of junk food was consumed and my poor body suffered from it.
Go boxing 4 times during the month
This one I actually managed to do. I was at boxing every Wednesday evening throughout the month and for that 1 hour each week I felt so good. I am really enjoying my boxing at the moment and to be honest thanks to this Wednesday has become my favourite day of the week.
Go to football 4 times during the month
This didn't happen due to car issues and also the fact the venue changed making it harder for me to get to. I really want to start going weekly so I am going to have to come up with a plan to get there each week so I can be consistent as I feel so good when I am kicking the ball around the pitch.
Lose 8lbs
As you will see this really didn't go to plan and I am frustrated by this as if I just got myself off the sofa and cooked or worked out I know this would have been really achievable and I could have possibly have lost even more than the 8lb goal.
Try get on more walks
The weather meant we didn't get to do this plus the fact we were just so busy to actually make time to go out on a walk. Fingers crossed we can start going on some again soon but for now all I can say is October was an absolute write off in this area.
So here is how my weight loss went for October ..
Beginning of October weight : 15 stone 10 lb
End of October weight : 15 stone 11 lb
Total loss for the month : +1 lb
So here are the goals I am making for myself to hopefully smash in November ...
Cook all our meals at home (unless due to go out for the day)
Take lunches to work
Go boxing every Wednesday in the month
A lot less alcohol
Workout 5 times a week
Lose 6 lb
Go on at least 2 long walks
October really didn't go to plan and I know full well that is just down to me being far too lazy however, I am determined not to let that happen again in November and I am ready to absolutely smash the penultimate month of the year. I am hoping November can be like 2020 where I was on track and smashing all my goals. Fingers crossed things go to plan as I want to enter the final month of 2021 as close to the 14 stone bracket as possible.
Total loss for 2021 : + 1 lb
Total loss since start of journey : - 5 lb
